Stores and where to buy
Vinify knows every Vinmonopolet store in Norway: its address, its position on the map and its opening hours, updated from Vinmonopolet every night. You can find the stores near you, see whether they are open now, get directions and mark your favorite stores. For a single wine, the wine locator shows the restaurants, wine bars and stores that list it, with vintages, bottle sizes and prices. On iOS a store has its own page with the wines Vinify lists for that store. The store finder, favorite stores and store pages are in the iOS app; the web has favorite stores and the map of places on a wine profile; Android shows the places that sell a wine.

How to use it
Find a store (iOS)
- Open your profile and tap Favorite stores. Find store opens a map with every store and a list you pull up from the bottom.
- The list starts with Favorite stores, then Other stores, each with Open or Closed and the distance from you.
- Search for an address, or tap Use my current location, to measure distances from another place.
- Tap a store to see its opening hours today, its address and its distance. Directions opens your maps app.
- Tap the star to add the store to your favorites or remove it. The change is saved when you leave the screen.
Favorite stores on the web
- Open the menu under your name and choose Favorite stores.
- Click Edit, then Add stores. The window lists the stores closest to you (your browser must share its location) with a map. Click the star next to a store to add or remove it.
- Click Done. Each favorite shows today's opening hours, Open when it is open now, and the address. In edit mode the cross removes a store.
A store's page (iOS)
A store page shows the name, the number of wines Vinify lists for the store, the address and distance, today's opening hours and whether the store is open. Below follow the store's wines with a price slider, style chips, filters and sorting. From a wine you can open its profile, add a quick taste or add it to your cellar. Food & wine matcher opens Vinify's AI chat for this store. The directions button opens your maps app. Store pages open from the home screen and the location picker.
Where can I buy this wine?
- iOS. On a wine profile, See all under where to buy opens These places have the wine: every store, restaurant and wine bar with the wine, sorted by distance, with vintages, bottle sizes and prices. Switch between a list and a map, filter by Vintages, Bottle size, Restaurants or Stores, or search for an address. Directions opens your maps app.
- Web. On a wine profile, See all locations opens the map of places with the wine. See the wine profile article.
- Android. On a wine profile, See all lists the places with the wine, closest first, with filters for vintage and bottle size.
Common questions
Which stores are in Vinify?
The Vinmonopolet stores, plus Vinmonopolet's online store. Restaurants and wine bars that use Vinify appear next to them in the wine locator.
Where do the opening hours come from?
From Vinmonopolet, including holiday hours. Vinify updates them once a night.
Why does a store say "Hours undefined"?
Vinify has no opening hours for that store today.
What do favorite stores do?
They are listed first in the store lists and marked with a star or a gold pin on the map, so you can check your usual stores quickly.
Why is the list of stores empty on the web?
The list of stores to add is sorted by distance and appears only when your browser shares its location.
Can I see a store's stock of a wine?
No. The wine locator shows which places list the wine and at what price, not how many bottles a store has.
Can I use the store finder on Android?
Not yet. Android shows the places that sell a wine from the wine profile.
