Invoice scanner
The invoice scanner reads a Vinmonopolet receipt or a Vectura invoice and turns each line into a wine in your cellar. You upload a photo or image of a Vinmonopolet receipt, or the PDF of a Vectura invoice. Vinify reads the product numbers on it, matches them to the bottles in the Vinify database, and shows you one row per line with the quantity and the price it found. You check the rows, fix or replace any match, and add the wines to the cellar in one go. It works on the web and in the iOS app. For most invoices, receipts, photos and PDF files the quicker route is AI wine import, which reads any supplier's document; the invoice scanner stays for Vinmonopolet receipts and Vectura invoices.

How to use it
On the web
- In your cellar, open the import dialog from the wines page and choose "Alternative methods" under "Alternative batch import methods". The dialog names the location the wines will land in.
- Pick the Vinmonopolet card for an image (jpg or png) of a receipt or invoice, or the Vectura card for a PDF invoice. Drop or select the file and click "Scan wines".
- Vinify scans the file and shows the matching table with the counts of scanned, matched, unmatched and confirmed rows. Each row shows what was read from the file ("Scan: ...") and the wine it was matched to.
- Confirm the rows that are right. For a wrong or missing match use "Find wine" to search the Vinify database, or add the wine as a custom wine. You can change the vintage, bottle size, quantity and prices in the row. Prices are recalculated with your cellar's VAT.
- Click the import button. The confirmed wines are added to the current location with the cellar's glass size. A toast confirms how many wines were imported.
On mobile
iOS. Open the cellar and choose "Invoice scan for cellar import" (the same sheet offers "Label & barcode scan"). Pick the source: Vinmonopolet or Vectura. For Vinmonopolet you can take a photo with the camera, choose one from the gallery or pick a file; for Vectura only Files is offered because the invoice is a PDF. The "Scanned wines" screen shows the counts Scanned, Matched, Unmatched and No vintage, the rows in scan order, and a "Mismatched only" switch that keeps only the rows that still need a decision. Each row can be switched between "Will be imported" and "Won't be imported", the quantity has a stepper, "Edit match" opens the cellar search with the scanned name prefilled, "Edit details" opens the wine form, and a matched wine without a vintage asks you to set one before it can be imported. The button at the bottom reads "Add X of Y wines to cellar". A success card confirms "N wines and M bottles have been added to your cellar".

Common questions
Which documents work?
Vinmonopolet receipts and invoices as an image, and Vectura invoices as a PDF. The scanner looks for the Vinmonopolet product number or the Vectura article number on each line, so a document without those numbers gives no matches.
Why is a line unmatched?
The number was not readable, or no bottle in the Vinify database carries that number. Use "Find wine" to match it by hand or add it as a custom wine.
Where do the prices come from?
From the document when the scanner can read them. When it cannot, the price falls back to the reference price Vinify holds for that product, and the VAT split follows your cellar's VAT settings.
Does it read quantities?
Vinmonopolet receipts, yes, from the "stk" column. Vectura invoices, no; every line starts at quantity 1 and you set the real count in the row.
Can I scan on Android?
Not yet. Use the web app or an iPhone.
Where do the wines go?
On the web, into the location you had open when you started the import. In the iOS app, into your default location.
