Adding wines
Adding wines by hand, from a file or a list, and by scanning.
- Add wineAdd wine puts one wine into your cellar by hand. You search Vinify's wine database, pick the wine, and fill in what only you know: how many bottles, where they are, what you paid and what you charge.
- AI wine importAI wine import reads a file you already have, an Excel sheet, a CSV, a PDF, or a photo of a list, and turns it into wines in your cellar. Vinify's AI finds the producer, the wine, the vintage, the size, the quantity, the prices and the origin in the file.
- Excel importExcel import is the older way to bring a spreadsheet into your cellar, built on two Vinify templates. Today Magic import (AI wine import) reads any spreadsheet, CSV, PDF or photo of a list, including CellarTracker exports, so that is the way to import a file.
- CellarTracker importExport your cellar from CellarTracker as a spreadsheet and upload it with Magic import. The upload step lists "Cellar tracker export file" among the accepted files and the copy says "Upload an Excel sheet, CellarTracker export, or even an image".
- Invoice scannerThe invoice scanner reads a Vinmonopolet receipt or a Vectura invoice and turns each line into a wine in your cellar. You upload a photo or image of a Vinmonopolet receipt, or the PDF of a Vectura invoice.
- Label and barcode scanScan opens the camera in the Vinify app and finds a wine from its barcode or its label. Point the camera at the barcode and the app looks the code up in the Vinify database and opens the wine profile.
