Choose your POS. See what connects
Each POS connects a little differently. Choose yours to see what flows into Vinify and what can sync back.
What the till sells,
the cellar subtracts
Without the connection, the POS says one thing, the shelf says another, and no tally sheet survives a busy Friday. Connected, your stock follows what the till sells.
Reprice once.
The till follows
On most systems, the selling prices you set in Vinify, by hand or by the price calculator’s rules, are pushed to your POS.
Exact capabilities depend on your POS. Every sale the till reports lands on a specific wine in your cellar; what else the connection handles, from product names on the till to menu groups, price tiers and recipes, differs by system. Choose your system above to see how yours works.
An add-on, set up by people who have done it before
Add the add-on
POS integration is an add-on to a Vinify plan. Add it at checkout, later, or during your trial.
Tell us what you run
You get in touch, we confirm your POS is supported, and we agree on what connects to what.
Our team sets it up
The Vinify team configures the connection for you. From then on sales come off stock, history fills itself, and the live list stays honest.
Lightspeed, Restolution, NanoPOS, OnlinePOS, Favrit, Unitouch, Caspeco, UniPos, Munu, PCK, Susoft, Ilglu, Winston, Baemingo and FriendlyPOS. Each connection ties the POS to your Vinify cellar so wine sales are reflected in stock without anyone typing anything. The Baemingo connection is in progress.
Two things. Sales flow in: every bottle and every glass sold through the POS comes off your cellar on its own and is recorded in cellar history. And prices flow out: on most systems, the selling prices you set in Vinify are pushed to your POS, so the list, the cellar and the till quote the same number.
Yes. A glass rung on the POS is recorded with its centilitres and comes off the open bottle, which is what keeps a by-the-glass program countable at all. On most systems, making a wine available by the glass in any wine list also makes it available in the POS.
POS integration is an add-on you attach to a Vinify plan, the same way Market value is. You can add it during checkout or later from Plans and billing, and it can be added to a trial as well. Current terms are on the pricing page.
We do. When you add the POS add-on, you get in touch with us and the Vinify team sets the connection to your POS up for you. You do not configure it alone: tell us what you run, and we take it from there.
On systems with price sync, Vinify updates your POS with the new selling price. While that update runs, the app says ‘Updating your POS system.’ and briefly disables price editing so the two systems stay consistent. The pushed price is the default selling price; only Ilglu also takes the extra price tiers.
Talk to us. The connections are built in-house, so tell us what you run and we can say honestly whether and when it could be supported. No promises we cannot keep, which is why this page only names systems that connect today.
